Maida has created award winning video art and collaborated on documentary works for festival and television airing that also features her talking about the arts.

Thresholds Crossed - GULAG / Art Angar (2004) 4-min
Art video shot on location in an historic building built in the 1920s by Solovki Island GULAG, forced labor camp, Solovki, White Sea, Russia used as the Center for Contermporary Art for artistic residencies on the island. Perfect Moment at WPA (1989) 10-min
Taped in 1989 at the height of the NEA censorship controversy, footage appeared on Oprah! and on newscasts across the country. The exhibition of photographs by Robert Mapplethorpe was mounted at the Washington Project for the Arts after the Corcoran Gallery of Art was pressured to cancel. Interviews feature curator Philip Brookman and James Fitzpatrick, Esq. Linda Lewett, producer and editor, Matt Dibble camera, and Maida Withers interviews subjects.
